In a surprising crossover event that breaks usual forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Revealed

According to the formal announcement, "A strange meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of banned practices and fearsome changes resonate through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden sect.

The questline centers on "peculiar trials and a fearsome adversary" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Transformations

The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview ends with a striking moment showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Extra Features

Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an special katana alongside numerous items concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Third Free Story Update

This patch also brings the game's newest no-cost story addition, titled "The Mystery."
